A Word From Our President
I am privileged to have the honor to speak and represent Tri Delta each and every day.
The 336 women who stand by my side embody bravery, boldness, and kindness, each of
them carrying forward the legacy our founders began. These women continue to shape
the foundation of Tri Delta in new, powerful ways every single day.
Founded in 1888, by women and for women, Tri Delta was built on the vision of
empowerment, connection, and unwavering support. At the University of Kentucky, our
chapter is a home away from home for women across the country, each of them bringing
their own unique story. The unity between each member is stronger than what sets us
apart. We are grounded in our values of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship. Our motto,
“Let us steadfastly love one another”, is not just something we say confidently–it is
something we live for. These women show up for each other in moments of celebration
and hardships, both fully and faithfully. This is what makes our sisterhood so sincerely
special.
Tri Delta welcomes growth–something that isn’t expected but encouraged. When I
began my membership in 2023, I could not have imagined being the person I am today.
These women have supported me, challenged me, and inspired me to grow as a member,
leader, and friend to all. This chapter continues to push each other toward academic
success, joining together to support our philanthropy St, Jude, pursuing involvement in
organizations across campus, and uplifting one another in leadership roles. Tri Delta
offers a place where women are encouraged to thrive. Through this power and support,
we have cultivated a sisterhood of strong, passionate, and resilient women.
Going through recruitment, I was worried I wouldn’t find a place where I truly belonged.
When I stepped through the doors of 468 Rose Street, those worries instantly faded
away. I was welcomed with genuine kindness–these women made me laugh, they made
me feel celebrated, and they listened to me with sincere intention. I knew when I found
Tri Delta, it would be more than a chapter, it would be a home full of meaningful
friendships.
Tri Delta has given me so much in the past 3 years. When the opportunity to serve as
chapter president arose, I knew it would be a chance for me to give back to a place that
has given more than anything I could have dreamed of. In just a few short months, I
have already experienced the impact of women stepping into their fullest potential, new
ideas coming to life, and leaders growing into their own right. I am so honored to be a
part of this journey with the women who inspire me the most.
The women of Tri Delta lead their lives with kindness, and I am so excited for you to be
surrounded with that during Primary Recruitment. As you begin this journey, I
encourage you to come in with an open heart and be your most true, authentic self.Trust that you will be met right where you are–not only within Tri Delta, but throughout
the entire Panhellenic community.
