Letter to the pnm
Sarah Ida Shaw founded Delta Delta Delta at Boston University in 1888. Over the years here at UK, the women of Tri Delta have created an environment with shared values of truth, friendship, and self-sacrifice where one is able to truly express themselves and be a part of something empowering. We pride ourselves in being a close group of strong women who are able to push boundaries with the support of our sisters.
During my time at Tri Delta, I have established lifelong friendships where I am constantly challenged every day to be the best that I can be. I have grown as an individual and as a leader with the help of my sisters. Being an out-of-state student can be scary, but I have found my home away from home here. Joining Tri Delta is a decision that I will never regret making because I would not be where I am today without the friends that I have made, lessons that I have learned, and qualities that I have developed over these last four years of membership.
I am beyond excited for you to go on this amazing journey to learn exactly what it is like to be a sorority woman and to discover new things about yourself along the way. During this exciting time, you will meet so many different women who will amaze and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Never pass on the opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new; it could turn out to be the best choice that you have ever made.
