We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character, inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life

PANHELLENIC CREED

We, the undergraduate members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

PANHELLENIC COUNCIL

The Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the 14 National Panhellenic Council sororities and 1 associate member group at the University of Kentucky. Panhellenic’s main goal is to create community wide standards and relationships through leadership opportunities, educational and social programming, as well as oversee Fall Primary Recruitment. In the past, Panhellenic events have included a Women’s Leadership Conference, Month of the Woman, High Heel Derby and a Panhellenic Unity Candlelight. Every sorority woman belongs to the Panhellenic Association immediately upon pledging. As the largest women’s organization and the second largest student organization, each of our chapters make a significant impact on our campus with their support for philanthropy, scholarship, leadership and sisterhood.
